ever since I 'came down with' giardia this spring, I've only wanted iced drinks. Since I have an addiction to coffee, iced coffee has been my drug of choice. And since a grande iced coffee from the 'Bucks is $2.55 + tip, I really should be making my own.
This recipe looks wonderful, and so do the photos. Recently, I bought one of those 16 oz plastic Starbucks cups with the green straw. I can pretend that a barista made my iced coffee, but it will come from the Kitchen of Jenny, who will not get a tip. Just a good iced coffee.

there is also cold press coffee--you make coffee extract and then just add water. Yumo. Check out filtron.com! It is supposed to be easier on your tummy than regular coffee too! And it makes delicious coffee punch....but that's another thing altogether.
That coffee recipe from Pioneer Woman got us through moving. Yum! I also like to add some crushed whole cardamom pods for a bit of flavor sometimes.

LOL! I'm not kidding, I bought one of those cups you speak of AND make PW's iced coffee in it! :-0 You have good taste. :D
It's really good... I should know. I made it for me and the hubs, then realized how good it was and hid it in the back of the fridge. He never actually knew I made it...
