So What?

So what if I didn't get everything done on the list I made today at work?
So what if the twins went to bed an hour later if it meant taking Cherub in the jogging stroller for some QT with him and a family (foster though it may be) dinner with John and the twins, and they enjoyed a beautiful WA spring evening in the backyard with Jill while John grilled?
So what if I'm going to bed later than I planned if it meant watching "The Office" with John?

What matters is that we had a lovely evening with happy twins. Let the madness of their case swirl around us.  Their lives will be peaceful and happy.

Good for you! Sometimes those unscripted moments of happiness are the best! Prayers for all of you as you wade through the resolution og their case!

Even if they don't remember every moment, if the time they have with you is peaceful and happy, they will always know the possibility of peace in their hearts. Whatever may happen later in their lives, this time is so very important for them and their development. the love and attention they get from you is helping to form them, their security, and their characters. Every hug strengthens and sustains. You and John and the twins are a family, and you guys are truly a gift from God for those kids. They could be in quite poor circumstances given their case status. Don't ever doubt what you are giving those kids, or your mom-hood. You are always in our prayers.
